Systems Analyst II

Location: Onsite in Orlando, Florida, United States of America; Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional after-hours support for system implementations, upgrades, and incident response.

Salary: $30 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k access, and potentially paid sick leave or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

What you will do

• Analyze system performance and monitor lane performance reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Monitor and support tolling systems during implementation of new or upgraded technologies.
• Conduct fault isolation and troubleshooting for lane and plaza systems.
• Provide advanced support for roadside servers, databases, and software applications.
• Investigate system anomalies reported by Operations, Finance, and Maintenance teams.
• Support installation, configuration, deployment, documentation, reporting, and ongoing operational maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, equivalent military technical training, or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of toll lane operations and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Experience supporting Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
• Basic SQL query development and analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of Excel Macros, Pivot Tables, and Visual Basic concepts.
• Familiarity with network and systems management tools such as Orion, CA Unicenter, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment and work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, or equivalent technical certifications.
• Experience supporting transportation, tolling, Intelligent Transportation Systems, or other mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with database administration, system monitoring tools, networking concepts, enterprise technology environments, and database technologies.
• Experience developing standard operating procedures and operational documentation.
• Experience with system monitoring, performance analysis, and operational reporting.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
