Finance Systems Analyst II (Banking)

Location: Springfield, IL

Salary: $31.97–$44.23 per hour, commensurate with experience and location.

What you will do

• Drive projects and operational improvements involving cash collection, payment disbursement, corporate banking, financial systems, banking platforms, and payment applications.
• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements, process flows, data needs, acceptance criteria, and control requirements.
• Analyze transaction activity, system behavior, bank reporting, exceptions, fees, operational metrics, risks, and root causes to recommend improvements.
• Support administration, configuration analysis, access coordination, issue research, and user support for assigned financial and banking applications.
• Coordinate project plans, testing and user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, vendor activities, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Support process redesign, user communications, training materials, documentation, and change adoption while coordinating with Finance, Technology, banks, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Ability to evaluate system, transaction, service, and operational metrics and draw relevant, supportable conclusions.
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Technical knowledge of financial systems, banking platforms, payment applications, and related integrations.
• Knowledge of business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, process mapping, data analysis, testing, issue resolution, and change support.
• Ability to identify practical process changes that improve control, efficiency, accuracy, or user experience.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work, manage multiple assignments, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with business, technical, and external partners.
