What you will do

• Design system specifications, standards, programming solutions, and technical designs aligned with Technical Architect direction.
• Support day-to-day production by responding to incidents and maintaining reliable application performance.
• Fix and validate applications through SIT, UAT, and post-implementation activities.
• Evaluate business requirements, solution feasibility, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Guide development teams through software development lifecycles within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Document solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code; mentor others on troubleshooting and technical inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Seven or more years of experience in Software Development, Information Technology, or a related area.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience with Infor XA or Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI) ERP applications.
• Experience with RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, or Free-Form RPG in an IBM i (AS/400) environment.
• At least one year of prior lead experience.
• Familiarity with formal project methodologies or SDLC, including Waterfall or Agile.
• SQL database query skills and knowledge of Infor IDF architecture.
• Experience with Power Link, Net Link, System Link, and ION integration tools.
• Experience with programming languages, operating systems, software, information system implementations or change efforts, software design principles, and development from functional specifications.
• Computer analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, including communication with internal and external entities.
• Proficiency with web-based software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
