Supply Chain Analyst - Supplier

Location: Hybrid, based at the Porcari, Lucca site, Italy

What you will do

• Manage upstream material and information flow from suppliers to point of use, supporting customer service and operational excellence.
• Parameterize raw material and purchased-part SKUs and maintain supplier master data in the ERP system.
• Right-size raw material and purchased-goods inventory using inventory tools and techniques.
• Measure and report supplier performance for on-time delivery, lead time, and order quantity.
• Build supplier relationships, manage shortages and expediting, and lead recovery actions.
• Lead supplier improvement projects, product lifecycle and NPI activities, root-cause countermeasures, and lean process development.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or appropriate workplace experience or qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and performance reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing supply chain environments, with knowledge of Lean methodologies and process optimization.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
• Fluent Italian at an advanced level and professional English at C1 level.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to think strategically, translate strategy into operational performance, lead change, and deliver results.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt training or an equivalent Lean qualification.
