Local NPI Buyer (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Ensure the timely availability of goods and services for the site and manage local procurement activities in collaboration with global procurement teams.
• Handle purchase requisitions, request and compare supplier quotations, and place purchase orders.
• Manage supplier selection and onboarding, conduct negotiations, and support optimal commercial conditions.
• Coordinate deliveries, monitor delivery reliability, and update ERP systems.
• Lead and support sourcing projects for direct and indirect materials and services.
• Prepare procurement analyses, reports, and supplier evaluations while supporting process improvement and standardization.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Previous professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience with negotiations and commercial contract discussions.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to evaluate procurement data and market trends.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
