Senior Cost Manager (Cost Management/Quantity Surveying)

Location: London, England, UK; hybrid; short periods of travel to meet clients, partners, and the team.

What you will do

• Support the settlement of construction disputes, loss and expense claims, commercial issues, change orders, and contract issues.
• Assist with final accounts and claims to help clients achieve best value from completed works.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Support project management through accurate cost documentation and timely communication.
• Participate in tender and bid processes, from preparing initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project spend by preparing valuations and cost reports and communicating variations.

Requirements

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• MRICS qualification.
• Degree or comparable experience in cost management or a construction discipline.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage personal priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners, and the team.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients through openness and shared purpose.
