Quick Response Team FFI Engineer (DUV)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; onsite in a cleanroom with a five-shift schedule consisting of two morning shifts, two evening shifts, and two night shifts followed by four days off.

Salary: €58,500–€66,000 gross annual fixed salary, including vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment; shift allowance is paid separately. Company profit sharing is not included.

What you will do

• Provide first-line troubleshooting and technical expertise for Factory and Field Integration activities, supporting factory output, machine availability, flight dates, and customer commitments.
• Independently analyze technical issues, solve bottlenecks, and design action plans for damages, failing tests, progress issues, and performance issues.
• Support delicate and complex hardware actions, particularly during unsupported night shifts, to reduce hard downtime.
• Manage workload, set priorities, guide execution teams, and support team leads in technical decision-making.
• Coach colleagues, provide KT training, share knowledge across QRT FFI shift teams, and strengthen technical capability.
• Drive continuous improvement by ensuring process adherence, performing thorough aftercare, and focusing on cycle-time reduction.

Requirements

• Technical vocational degree with several years of experience, or a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
• Above-average troubleshooting skills and a strong interest in technical problem analysis.
• Technical knowledge of hirify.global DUV systems.
• Leadership skills demonstrated through role-model behavior and the ability to coach and develop colleagues with varying experience levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple organizational levels, including the ability to give and receive feedback.
• Ability to balance result orientation, people focus, and continuous improvement; connect empathetically with multiple levels; perform under pressure; and work as part of a team.
• Fluent English for both verbal and technical communication.
• Legal authorization to access technology controlled under the United States Export Administration Regulations is required before starting work.
