Logistics Sourcing Analyst (Transportation Procurement)

What you will do

• Develop standardized RFP documentation processes with sourcing and transportation operations teams for global air and ocean freight and regional ground transportation modes.
• Build RFPs, formats, and scenario analyses in RFx platforms including Keelvar, Jagger, Coupa, Trimble, and GEP.
• Provide market trend insights to sourcing managers and support sourcing strategy, data collection, and continuous improvement.
• Develop supplier KPI systems and BI reports covering spend, price-per-mode trends, and market intelligence.
• Validate cost-versus-market trends, track cost-saving opportunities, support supplier claims, and ensure compliance with corporate sourcing policies.
• Coordinate with managers, functional leaders, department heads, internal teams, and external clients to address complex sourcing problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of transportation, logistics sourcing, or procurement experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Business and data analytics experience with Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Five years of sourcing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong program management, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Understanding of financial data.
