Logistics Tool Specialist (SAP/Automation)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end production tool management, including ordering, registration, storage, availability, certification, calibration, maintenance, and inspection.
• Design and manage tool cabin space, monitor utilization, and maintain tool availability for smooth production output.
• Track KPIs, prepare operational presentations, manage approved budgets, and drive operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot tool issues with urgency, perform root cause analysis, and implement structural solutions.
• Drive automation and continuous-improvement initiatives covering efficiency, reliability, standardization, safety, quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate Tool Planners and third-party Tool Handlers while collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, quality, sourcing, and procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production tools management, operational logistics, or material-flow engineering, preferably in a high-tech, low-volume assembly environment.
• Hands-on experience with continuous improvement using lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies and change management.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience operating an ERP SAP system.
• Factory-level project management experience or above.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
• Strength in problem solving through root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across departments, sectors, and global functions; work independently and as a flexible team player in a dynamic environment under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with third-party logistics management.
• Familiarity with warehouse, dock, and cleanroom operations.
• Knowledge and experience with hardware automation in warehouse or logistics environments.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above.
