Service Delivery Manager (m/f/d) Accounts Receivable (SAP)

Location: Remote work from Germany, Portugal, the United Kingdom, or Hungary; specific arrangements to be discussed during the interview process.

What you will do

• Lead the Accounts Receivable service delivery organization within hirify.global GBS Finance and manage a team of approximately 20 employees.
• Own reliable, compliant, customer-oriented AR operations across countries and hirify.global entities.
• Standardize and harmonize global AR and O2C processes, including cash application, incoming payment allocation, dunning, collections, disputes, billing interfaces, write-offs, open-item management, and month-end close support.
• Drive AR automation, including SAP S/4 requirements, workflow standards, reporting, and controls.
• Collaborate with Sales, Key Account Management, Order Management, project teams, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Process Owners, and IT to resolve root causes and improve cash collection and first-time-right quality.
• Monitor AR KPIs and service levels while leading continuous improvement, governance, operating-model change, and sustainable remediation of control gaps.

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, controlling, or a comparable field.
• Several years of leadership experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, finance operations, shared services, or GBS, ideally in an international or matrix organization.
• Strong AR and O2C expertise covering cash application, incoming payment allocation, dunning, collections, dispute management, customer account management, credit-management interfaces, billing interfaces, project-related receivables, open-item management, month-end close support, internal controls, and reporting.
• Practical experience with AR automation solutions and SAP, ideally including SAP S/4 process design or transformation exposure.
• Experience translating business needs into standard processes, automation requirements, reporting, and scalable controls.
• Proven experience leading international teams and balancing global standards with regional stakeholder needs, local regulations, and differing process maturities.
• Strong people-management, relationship-building, change-leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.
• Experience shaping future-oriented AR or collections operating models, including automation roadmaps, governance, and change management.
