Facilities Engineering Intern (Total Gas Chemical Management)

Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia; no hybrid or work-from-home option. Shift 1 (Malaysia).

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Total Gas Chemical Management team to identify hazards in job tasks.
• Document and analyze job processes and support the creation and updating of Job Hazard Analysis documentation.
• Participate in FMEA sessions and document failure modes, effects, and criticality.
• Help develop action plans to mitigate risks identified through JHA and FMEA.
• Maintain training materials, operating documents, and checklists as needed.
• Collect, consolidate, and organize data from multiple sources for dashboard creation and complete assigned operational tasks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field involving chemical and gas management.
• Ability to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia.
• Commitment to safety and stringent environmental compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team across multiple facilities operations disciplines.
