Production Planner (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Ashtabula, Ohio, United States. Regular presence at the workplace is required. Candidates must have an unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.

hirify.global Corporation operates the Advanced Materials Division and supports chemical manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain raw material and production plans with cross-functional teams.
• Manage inventory within target ranges to optimize performance and minimize excess.
• Monitor short- and long-term production capacity, material constraints, and planning changes.
• Communicate operational and business impacts to stakeholders and coordinate planning with regional supply planners, operations, and logistics teams.
• Track, analyze, and report supply chain metrics including OTIF, DIO, and SLOB.
• Support alignment across supply chain functions, participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives, and complete required training.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain function.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Knowledge of SIOP and IBP processes.
• Ability to work additional hours when needed to support production requirements and business needs.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a chemical, industrial, or related production environment.
• Experience tracking and reporting supply chain KPIs such as OTIF, DIO, and SLOB.
