Material Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Senatobia, Mississippi, United States. Candidates must already have US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end inventory planning, including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition through customer invoice.
• Define inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
• Calculate and maintain safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes, lead times, and replenishment strategies in planning systems and ERP platforms.
• Coordinate material planning and call-offs, converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders with operations buyers and services.
• Support internal customer service inquiries and collaborate with buyers to improve supplier on-time delivery, minimum order quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, plus at least 2 years of inventory management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Production planning and invoicing experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Existing US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge.
• Production planning and invoicing experience.
