Workday Security Sr. Analyst (Location Flexibility)

Location: All locations in the United States; most roles follow a hybrid workstyle aligned to an hirify.global office.

Salary: $81,900–$139,700 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday security across HCM modules, reporting, and integrations.
• Configure role-based, domain, and business process security while supporting appropriate access and segregation of duties.
• Execute SOX security controls, including access reviews, audit support, evidence collection, and remediation.
• Partner with HR, Technology, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders to implement secure and compliant solutions.
• Troubleshoot security issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes while considering downstream impacts.
• Document configurations and controls, prioritize security work, and evaluate Workday releases for security impacts and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong experience with Workday Security, including HCM modules such as Compensation, Payroll, Time Off and Absence, and Benefits.
• Experience configuring role-based, domain, and business process security.
• Experience supporting SOX controls, audits, access reviews, evidence collection, and remediation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into secure configurations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, understanding of data privacy and compliance, and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Workday Security certification.
• Experience in a SOX-regulated environment.
• Exposure to reporting and integration security concepts.
• Familiarity with audit processes and internal control frameworks.
