Principal Product Marketing Manager (Threat Research)

Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the United States; Eastern Time zone strongly preferred. The posting also lists New York, NY.

Compensation range: $200,000–$230,000 total compensation, potentially including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits.

What you will do

• Build and run a threat research publishing program covering AI security research, threat reports, vulnerability disclosures, and data-driven industry findings.
• Partner with researchers, Product, and Data Science to identify research angles and translate technical findings into narratives for security practitioners and executives.
• Create and manage blogs, technical write-ups, flagship reports, briefs, webinars, and conference talks.
• Develop go-to-market plans connecting research with positioning, messaging, and product value, and equip Sales and Customer Success with supporting stories and talking points.
• Launch and amplify research through media, analyst, social, and community channels while building relationships with security press and industry influencers.
• Track research impact and monitor the threat landscape and competitive research, especially in AI security and non-human identity risk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, security content marketing, or threat research communications.
• Experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, data security, or as-a-Service technologies, ideally supporting a threat intelligence or research team.
• Ability to translate deeply technical research into compelling content for technical and executive audiences.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published research-driven content.
• Working knowledge of the threat landscape, including AI and LLM security risks, data exposure, and identity-based threats.
• Experience launching research through PR, analyst relations, and owned channels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working directly with security researchers or a threat intelligence team.
• Familiarity with vulnerability disclosure and responsible publication practices.
• Background in a technical security role.
