Business Analyst II - Payment Integrity

Location: Remote-MO, United States; other listed remote locations include Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Illinois, and Florida.

Salary: $56,200–$101,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze business needs, user requirements, procedures, and operational problems for assigned functions.
• Support business initiatives through data analysis, implementation-barrier identification, and user acceptance testing of new systems.
• Perform detailed project analysis, recommend business solutions, and assist with implementation.
• Improve performance management and operational reporting for new business implementation processes.
• Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications.
• Lead problem-solving and coordination across business units; assist with departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of business process or data analysis experience.
• For Compliance Coding/Prepay Compliance: 2+ years of business process analysis, preferably in healthcare, or claims payment/analysis experience.
• Experience documenting business processes and gathering requirements.
• Compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of managed care information systems.
• Experience with benefits, pricing, contracting, or claims.
• Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies.
• Previous structured testing experience.
