Sr. Construction Project Manager

Location: USA-Remote; the role is explicitly onsite at a VA hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Base salary: $111,000–$161,500 per year, plus benefits and potential performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity depending on the role.

What you will do

• Lead and manage the onsite construction team through construction, commissioning, and post-construction phases for a $200M facility upgrade energy savings performance contract.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Scheduling, Measurement and Verification, Commissioning, and O&M teams throughout the project.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with scope, cost, schedule, quality, and client requirements.
• Lead stakeholder communications, project meetings, status updates, reports, and online collaboration with the owner, A/E, and subcontractors.
• Implement site safety and health plans with the site superintendent in accordance with jurisdictional and OSHA standards.
• Manage resources, change orders, expenditures, financial documentation, and vendor and subcontractor pay applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• At least 10 years of electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial power construction project management experience involving facility infrastructure construction.
• Experience involving renovations, underground piping, lighting retrofits, building controls and automation, motors and VFDs, or renewable energy technology.
• Experience with installation or replacement of chillers, boilers, combined heat power plants, cogeneration, and steam distribution.
• Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Oracle P6, or an equivalent construction industry project management information system.
• USACE Construction Quality Management certification.
• OSHA-30 or EM-385-1-1 certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification, a valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the resident state, and the ability to pass a background check.

• Prior experience working on federal projects.
• Experience managing and completing federal projects valued between $30M and $100M.
