Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: United States (Remote); role operations include global data centers and on-site and remote hardware installation.

Base salary for US-based candidates: $105,400–$189,600 per year. Compensation outside the US varies; additional incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan may be available.

What you will do

• Deploy and repair servers, storage systems, routers, switches, and other hardware.
• Install hardware, cabling, firmware, and software on-site and remotely.
• Monitor and maintain data centers, networks, and servers worldwide while coordinating with data center Network Operations Centers.
• Manage hardware decommissioning, disposal, and data destruction projects.
• Ship and receive networking equipment to maintain network availability and reliability.
• Coordinate data center migrations, hardware platform upgrades, deployment requests, and rack design.

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in a NOC environment with hands-on hardware experience.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking equipment.
• Solid troubleshooting skills in a large-scale data center environment.
• Understanding of Linux system administration, server administration, and system internals.
• Professional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
