Principal Project Management Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Atlanta, GA; Greenwood Village, CO; Honolulu, HI; Hyattsville, MD; Pasadena, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Portland, OR; Renton, WA; or Washington, DC. Work arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid.

Salary: $184,500–$278,600 annually plus up to 20% performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs and interdependent workstreams from strategy and planning through execution, launch, and stabilization.
• Translate business strategy into roadmaps, priorities, requirements, measurable outcomes, and business cases.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, resource plans, schedules, governance, methodologies, metrics, and reporting.
• Build alignment with executive, business, IT, operations, financial, physician, vendor, and governance stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes while resolving delivery obstacles and allocating resources.
• Lead organizational change, implementation planning, communications, user adoption, training, continuous improvement, and vendor management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent additional work experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of experience managing projects or programs using established project lifecycle methodologies, including SDLC, process management, or organizational change.
• At least 10 years of experience managing project or program budgets.
• At least 8 years of experience managing programs.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate environment.
• At least 5 years of experience leading project teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise programs, preferably involving application development and technology transformation.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.
• Excellent executive communication, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Expertise in program governance, risk management, change management, and cross-functional delivery, with the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through complex transformation initiatives.
