Director, Full-Stack Engineer - AI Hub Engineering

Location: Lake Mary, Florida, United States; onsite

Base salary: $147,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Consult with internal business groups and provide advanced application development services and technical support.
• Design, develop, maintain, and integrate front-end and back-end components into scalable applications.
• Produce technical designs, flowcharts, layouts, documentation, testing strategies, and test automation solutions.
• Manage technical debt, modernization efforts, software performance, security, privacy, and technical currency.
• Advise IT and business managers, present technology strategies, and help implement broad technology strategies across large IT organizations.
• Resolve complex technical problems, contribute to code reviews and development practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 14+ years of software development experience.
• Strong full-stack development expertise across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and JSON.
• Experience with application development frameworks and containerization technologies.
• Working knowledge of security principles, relational databases, and application architecture design.
• Ability to understand technology interdependencies and the business impact of future IT plans.
• Extensive experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and structured development approaches, with broad experience using multi-platform development tools, toolkits, and enterprise application environments.
• Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, teamwork, interpersonal, mentoring, and influencing skills.
