Internal Acceleration Engineer

Location: On-site in San Jose, United States. The team is fully in person at the San Jose office; relocation support is available for candidates moving to San Jose.

Salary: $150,000–$400,000+ annually, plus significant equity.

What you will do

• Embed with the ASIC team to identify high-leverage engineering bottlenecks and own solutions from concept through deployment.
• Build and deploy LLM agents integrated into engineering workflows through tool-calling and MCP.
• Ship full-stack internal products, including interfaces, data pipelines, and infrastructure, from zero to one.
• Design evaluations, measure adoption, and determine which tools deliver meaningful impact.
• Work directly with the founders on special projects and critical company milestones.

Requirements

• 1–5+ years of experience building and shipping software end to end.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills and the ability to own problems from discovery through delivery.
• Experience building LLM agents or AI tooling used by real users, including context engineering, tool integration, evaluations, and failure analysis.
• Strong product sense, design taste, attention to detail, and agency in identifying the underlying problem.
• Comfort working across engineering and research in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to chip development, kernels, hardware, or manufacturing.
• Infrastructure, data engineering, or DevOps experience.
• Experience with fine-tuning, RAG over proprietary technical data, or multi-agent orchestration.
• Startup experience, especially in a hypergrowth environment.
