Materials & Production Scheduling Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Woodstock, IL; onsite presence across the office, warehouse, and active food-manufacturing environments is required, with occasional off-shift, overtime, and weekend support.

New hire base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead materials planning for raw ingredients and packaging materials, support production scheduling, monitor schedule attainment, and communicate supply, inventory, and transportation constraints.
• Coordinate vendors, carriers, external storage locations, plant leadership, production, quality, and corporate partners to maintain continuity of supply.
• Oversee receipt, storage, handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control for raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
• Lead cycle counting, SAP transactions, FIFO rotation, inventory records, safety, sanitation, housekeeping, and material-handling standards.
• Lead and develop the Warehouse Department through staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
• Drive KPIs, structured problem solving, process improvement, capital projects, budget management, compliance, product holds, recalls, and long-range facility planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing operations, including demonstrated people-leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of financial and budget management.
• Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Project management experience and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Knowledge of applicable safety, food-manufacturing, employment, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including occasional off-shift, overtime, or weekend support.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• SAP experience.
