Mechanical Engineer (HVACR)

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Design and engineer single screw and reciprocating compressor units, reviewing refrigeration and gas compression component and system designs.
• Recommend improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, improve design quality, and support design-for-manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, applicable codes, and specifications.
• Lead and coordinate engineering documentation, review and approve production drawings, and support product configurators and quotation tools in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, suppliers, external engineering resources, manufacturing, customers, and internal teams to resolve technical and supply challenges.
• Provide technical support through customer presentations, training, trade shows, job-site visits, troubleshooting, and field service activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts clearly.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, or Creo.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret and apply applicable codes and standards, including ASME, UL, CRN, NFPA, and AWS.
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and contribute to positive change.
