Mechanical Engineer Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Saddle Brook, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Salary: $25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support the mechanical engineering group and complete assigned documentation projects, including drawing replication.
• Generate 3D design concepts in Autodesk Inventor and convert them to 2D drawings when required.
• Document designs, testing, and project data in accordance with ISO-9001 and Engineering Department procedures.
• Prepare project schedules and cost estimates, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the expected results.
• Plan and execute assigned design and development projects according to company, department, and business group procedures.
• Apply design principles for hazardous areas, testing, and manufacturing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.
• Drafting and design skills.
• Essential: 2D AutoCAD and 3D skills; Autodesk Inventor is preferred within this requirement.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft tools.
