Design Engineer (3D CAD)

Location: North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; onsite

Company

Manufacturer of cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, and related solutions for the LNG and industrial gases industry, with engineering, production, and testing facilities in the United States and Japan.

What you will do

• Modify and create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Create and maintain bills of materials in CAD and MRP/ERP systems.
• Prepare and update documentation for product manufacturing and assembly.
• Implement project designs and improvements to existing cryogenic pump and industrial gas products.
• Work with Design and Project Engineers and follow engineering guidance.
• Travel between company facilities, client offices, production facilities, or industrial and construction job sites when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software; SOLIDWORKS experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving history, and ability to safely work in a potentially explosive environment.
