Hiring salary range: $66,528–$84,115 per year

What you will do

• Sell Ingram Book Group programs, systems, and services to new customers and manage relationships with publishers, retailers, and internal departments.
• Analyze customer sales, category, SKU, inventory, returns, and book industry trends to identify profitable product opportunities.
• Develop sales forecasts, inventory plans, initial buy quantities, title allocations, replenishment strategies, seasonal plans, and merchandising promotions.
• Create customer and supplier analyses, advice, sales reports, pre-packs, promotions, and marketing materials.
• Manage title-specific exceptional terms of sale and support profitable seasonal business reviews.
• Coordinate ordering, shipment, supply chain, and service-level issue resolution with customers, stores, suppliers, Operations, distribution centers, IT, and transportation teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year-for-year experience.
• Four years of progressive experience in Sales, Inventory Management, Project Management, or Marketing.
• One year of intermediate to advanced Excel experience, including formulas, data manipulation, charts or graphs, and VLOOKUPs.

Nice to have

• Experience working in the book industry.
• Knowledge of the wholesale business.
