Onboarding Associate (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Coordinate clinician onboarding from offer acceptance through start-date readiness and the first structured clinical ramp.
• Guide clinicians through systems access, payroll setup, tax forms, policy acknowledgements, and other onboarding tasks across Rippling, Qgenda, Zoom, Slack, and internal tools.
• Initiate and monitor background checks through Checkr and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Ensure compliance documentation and required credentials are complete before clinicians start.
• Manage communications, timelines, records, and onboarding progress while escalating delays or issues proactively.
• Identify process improvements that make onboarding faster and smoother for clinicians.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, recruiting coordination, or administrative support in a healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional written communication.
• Comfort working within structured systems and workflows.
• Experience with Rippling, Ashby, Checkr, Athena, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple onboarding timelines simultaneously.
• High reliability, follow-through, and accountability.
