Senior Engagement Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States.

Salary: $115,000–$190,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Run several concurrent customer engagements end to end, including kickoffs, delivery plans, milestones, status cadence, and handoff to steady-state adoption.
• Build engagement plans with customers covering scope, sequencing, success measures, and responsibilities.
• Manage scope, timelines, and resourcing; identify slippage early and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with Sales from initial scoping through delivery to align sold services with execution.
• Run enablement sessions, address customer concerns, and expand adoption beyond pilot teams.
• Track customer outcomes, create references and case studies, and share delivery patterns, friction, and feature gaps with Product and FDE.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering technical programs or professional services engagements, ideally at a consultancy, systems integrator, or software/cloud vendor.
• Working knowledge of software delivery, including architecture, environments, CI/CD, security, and governance reviews.
• Experience running engagements under both agile and waterfall models.
• Ability to work credibly with engineering leaders and senior stakeholders, communicate difficult issues, and maintain relationships.
• Practical experience with AI coding agents and AI-native development tooling, or clear evidence of rapidly learning new technology.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including trusted status reporting and actionable planning.
