VP, Procurement (Banking)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States; onsite role

Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year, plus eligible discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 12.5% each.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing and category strategies for outsourced services, IT, development, and other complex spend areas.
• Source suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and identify cost-management opportunities.
• Lead contract negotiation planning and execution with internal stakeholders, Legal, Risk, and other functions.
• Oversee vendor spend databases, spend analysis, management reporting, and procurement performance metrics.
• Improve the source-to-pay process, including contract review and purchase order coordination.
• Ensure vendor due diligence, contract compliance, and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of procurement or related experience, including procurement consulting, finance shared services, outsourcing, and external vendor management.
• Experience managing multi-entity and multi-state processes in a Sarbanes-Oxley accounting control environment.
• Experience managing RFI/RFP processes for large, complex spend categories and operating requisition-to-PO processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, networking, and leadership skills, with proficiency in Excel.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements and pass credit, criminal background, drug, and marijuana screening.
