VP, Procurement

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus targets of 12.5% cash and 12.5% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing and category strategies with business partners, covering outsourced services, IT, and development.
• Manage supplier sourcing, vendor relationships, partnerships, and cost-management initiatives.
• Lead contract negotiation planning and execution, including coordination with Legal, Risk, and other stakeholders.
• Improve source-to-pay operations, including contract reviews and purchase order creation.
• Build vendor spend databases and prepare management reports, spend analyses, and performance indicators.
• Lead a procurement team and promote long-term savings through total cost of ownership management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 7+ years of procurement or related experience.
• Experience in procurement consulting, finance shared services, outsourcing, accounting controls in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment, and multi-entity or multi-state processes.
• Experience managing complex RFI/RFP processes and requisition-to-purchase-order operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, networking, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; banking industry experience is preferred.
