Senior Director, Procurement

Location: Chicago, United States. Hybrid position requiring three days of in-office collaboration and two remote days per week.

Salary: $170,000–$250,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead company-wide direct and indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, and vendor consolidation.
• Negotiate complex enterprise agreements covering SaaS, telecom, market data, CapEx, OpEx, contractors, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Oversee vendor due diligence, third-party risk reviews, procurement governance, and M&A procurement integration.
• Manage contractor onboarding, performance, renewals, offboarding, and purchase requisition-to-purchase order controls.
• Partner with Finance and FP&A on budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, accruals, invoice-to-pay processes, and financial reporting.
• Own procurement systems and reporting across Coupa, NetSuite, and Ironclad, including executive dashboards for spend, savings, and budget variance.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management experience in technology, finance, or corporate environments.
• Deep experience negotiating enterprise agreements for SaaS, global telecom, financial market data, CapEx, and OpEx.
• Proven experience with M&A procurement integration and large-scale vendor consolidation.
• Advanced hands-on proficiency with Coupa, NetSuite, and Ironclad.
• Strong knowledge of third-party risk management, data security frameworks, privacy regulations, GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

• MBA or master’s degree.
• CPSM or CIPP certification.
• Experience with sustainable and ethical sourcing, ABAC, anti-modern-slavery programs, and ESG criteria.
• Advanced contract law knowledge and experience influencing C-suite stakeholders.
