Academic Designer, Math K-5 Transcript

Location: Remote; Ohio, United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually.

What you will do

• Plan and develop culturally responsive, relevant, and sustaining math content for PreK–5 teacher and student materials across print, digital, and media projects.
• Create learning objectives, content, activities, and instructional supports aligned with product requirements.
• Apply elementary pedagogy and produce accurate, error-free products that meet curriculum standards, market requirements, reading-level, grammar, and style expectations.
• Conduct quality assurance testing of digital assets across authoring tools, platforms, and applications.
• Communicate project progress, resolve issues, and collaborate with Academic Designer grade-level leads, managers, and other team members.
• Develop blended curriculum and instructional solution designs for digital and print content.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of elementary product development experience and a degree in elementary education.
• 5 or more years of elementary classroom experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to edit digital and print materials promptly.
• Ability to communicate project progress and develop solutions to address issues.
• Ability to create, visualize, and lay out content for different delivery formats and classroom settings.
• Knowledge and skills in creating digital assets with authoring tools, digital platforms, and applications, including Habitat authoring.
• Ability to conduct quality assurance testing of digital assets.

• Experience building accessible content in digital authoring systems.
