Director, AI Enablement (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 annually, with a possible annual bonus plan and medical and other benefits depending on the position.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and grow the AI Enablement team across business workflow enablement, data enablement, and developer enablement.
• Set the strategy, priorities, and operating model for scaling AI adoption across business workflows, data initiatives, and software development.
• Partner with the Solution Architect to turn strategy into technical execution, patterns, and standards.
• Establish AI tool governance, evaluation, approval, security, compliance, risk, best practices, training programs, and communities of practice.
• Own AI tool and enablement cost models, help set budgets, define ROI measurement, and report business impact to leadership.
• Represent AI enablement to executive leadership while hiring, coaching, and developing a hands-on cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience with a software engineering background and the ability to engage credibly with engineers and executives across business, data, and developer domains.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with enterprise GenAI tools, including M365 Copilot, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code or comparable tools.
• Experience leading a team focused on technology adoption, enablement, platform strategy, or a similar cross-functional area.
• A track record of driving organization-wide adoption of new tools, processes, or ways of working.
• Experience owning governance, cost, and ROI discussions, including risk and business value.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with sound judgment about when to lead directly and when to delegate.
