Senior Project Manager (AI)

Location: Denver, Colorado, USA; hybrid work with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays.

Salary: $155,000–$165,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives, including sales process improvement, while aligning owners, milestones, capacity, and dependencies.
• Translate business outcomes and stakeholder needs into executable project plans covering scope, requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical, data, security, process, and change dependencies.
• Own project execution, planning, governance, risks, dependencies, delivery, and coordination with Product Managers.
• Lead AI transformation from process redesign through adoption, connecting AI experiences with data, integrations, and systems of work while tracking business value.
• Align business and technical stakeholders, clear blockers, manage critical paths, escalate conflicts, and improve reusable delivery practices and tools.
• Provide concise delivery updates and executive recommendations covering technical status, risks, dependencies, trade-offs, business impact, and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience delivering complex cross-functional technology initiatives or interdependent portfolios.
• 3+ years of experience in transformation, technology delivery, operations, or consulting, with the ability to turn process needs into practical execution.
• Experience leading complex projects involving AI/ML, data, analytics, automation, enterprise applications, or similar technologies.
• Strong execution skills in scoping, requirements, integrated planning, risk and dependency management, change management, and outcome tracking.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, privacy, security, and compliance in enterprise technology delivery.
• Ability to communicate credibly with executive leadership, senior leaders, and individual contributors across business and technology teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI development, including model development, data labeling, or model monitoring.
• Experience delivering projects in software, cloud, data, or enterprise-application environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams through technology, process, or AI/ML product delivery in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to engage technical teams on architecture, integrations, data flows, model workflows, and system constraints without acting as the architect.
• Experience integrating AI into personal workflows to accelerate delivery and outcomes.
• PMP or Agile certification in product or project management.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Jira, or Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with software delivery lifecycles and Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
