Sr Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Salary: $115,000–$160,000 annually, with a possible annual bonus and benefits depending on the position.

What you will do

• Own the enterprise product lifecycle from planning and execution through continuous optimization.
• Lead solution design and architecture discussions for scalable enterprise and AI capabilities.
• Coordinate engineering development, testing, deployment, scope, priorities, resources, and dependencies.
• Define, track, and interpret product success metrics using data and feedback to improve platform performance.
• Partner with engineering, data science, program management, business leadership, and customer-facing teams.
• May hire, develop, evaluate, and manage employees, including team goals and expenses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in highly technical product management or related roles such as software engineering or solutions architecture.
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, databases, and application infrastructure, including initial log review and issue triage; coding is not required.
• Experience with AI and data infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training workflows, and deployment tools.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence across organizational levels and diverse cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to define, track, and interpret AI model and product metrics such as accuracy, precision, and ROI.
• Proactive, metrics-driven product management leadership balancing business and technical success.
• Commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation, data privacy, and transparency.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in AI.
• 3+ years of people management or team leadership.
• Experience with WCAG-compliant design and testing.
• Familiarity with UX wireframing and prototyping tools.
• Background in EdTech and knowledge of industry-specific challenges.
