Sr. Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; hybrid

Annual salary: $120,000–$140,000

What you will do

• Direct complex product initiatives from development through launch, ensuring execution against project plans and managing product P&L where applicable.
• Own and communicate product roadmaps, using competitive analysis, delivery costs, market positioning, and investment themes to set priorities.
• Develop go-to-market packaging, marketing strategies, pricing models, value propositions, and recommendations for executive management.
• Build comprehensive business cases and conduct structured market research using industry publications, analyst research, experiential research, and client surveys.
• Lead product concept and requirements workshops with clients and internal development teams, documenting outcomes and coordinating follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with business leaders, sales, IT, legal, marketing, relationship management, product delivery, and technology architecture to validate designs and support testing and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in similar business product services and/or external customer or market experience.
• Ability to develop complex business cases, analyze data, define product strategy, and manage complex product initiatives.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in a software development environment or professional services role.
• Software or IT background through education or experience.
• Direct experience with software development, testing, and/or business analysis.
• Experience with Agile software products and delivery methodology.
