Construction Project Manager (Data Center Construction)

Location: Remote in the United States; travel across regions required for 50–60% of the time, including active construction sites.

Base salary: $175,000–$195,000 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver data center construction projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and budgeting through design, build, start-up, commissioning, and final handover.
• Manage multiple greenfield new-build and major phased-expansion projects to schedule, budget, and company design standards.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and OEMs.
• Lead RFPs and buyouts, including bid evaluation, negotiations, and contractor selection.
• Control budgets, change orders, schedules, and Procore reporting.
• Coordinate with EHS to maintain safe sites and ensure clean handover to facility operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading data center construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree and a strong technical background in engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong MEP and trades knowledge, with the ability to read drawings, specifications, schematics, and sequences of operation.
• Experience scheduling in MS Project or Primavera P6, using DCMA 14 or a similar standard.
• Familiarity with Procore, MOPs, NETA standards, BMS, EPMS, access control, CCTV, LV systems, and network systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Readiness to travel 50–60% of the time across regions and work on active construction sites.
