Project Manager - Utility Scale Renewables

Location: Hybrid, US, Louisville, Colorado; travel to project locations up to 30%

Salary: $113,000–$141,525 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects from development through construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations.
• Define RFPs and EPC scopes of work, support EPC selection and contract negotiations, and manage contractor deliverables.
• Review project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, EHS plans, permits, quality controls, and construction compliance.
• Coordinate utility interconnection, permitting, jurisdictional approvals, site due diligence, and project documentation.
• Manage relationships with landowners, government agencies, utilities, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal engineering, commissioning, procurement, asset management, legal, finance, and accounting teams, and lead project status reporting and turnover activities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in construction project management.
• Experience with distributed generation or utility-scale photovoltaic solar project construction.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic solar design and technical standards, civil and structural engineering, and energy storage projects.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to travel to project locations up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Renewable energy project experience and PMP certification.
• Familiarity with PVSYST, System Advisor Model production reports, NEC Section 690, and NFPA 1.
• NABCEP PV Installer Certification.
• Spanish language skills.
