Project Manager - Nuclear Power

Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio, United States; onsite role with possible travel to customer sites.

Salary: $120,000–$125,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead assigned nuclear power projects and manage customer satisfaction, project definition, planning, monitoring, cost, quality, schedule, communications, and performance risks.
• Develop project plans, coordinate activities, maintain timelines and target dates in Microsoft Project or a similar scheduling tool, and track progress against deadlines.
• Coordinate Engineering, Product Structure, Materials, Quality, Document Coordination, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Shipping activities.
• Establish task ownership, coordinate department capacity and resources, provide feedback, and manage project team activities.
• Lead customer kick-off, pre-inspection, and progress meetings; communicate project activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage change orders, cross-functional problem solving, technical issue escalation, and continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of project management experience; alternatively, 10+ years of comparable technical sales, quality, and engineering experience plus 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with complex nuclear projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent team collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations simultaneously.
