Senior Project Manager (Transmission Line)

Location: Castle Rock, Colorado; essential functions must be performed in a company-designated office or field location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $103,549–$174,999 per year, paid weekly and commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale and high-complexity transmission and distribution construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• Set execution strategies and direct project teams to deliver safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects or programs, including schedules, budgets, forecasts, cost controls, resources, and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage contract and financial exposure, and drive corrective actions and operational efficiencies.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project coordination staff.
• Lead client meetings and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, partners, internal departments, and field teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Required experience with transmission lines and medium- or high-voltage substations; EHV experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
• Advanced cost, risk, analytical, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office, scheduling software such as MS Project or P6, Enterprise I JDE, and change management tracking and pricing.
• Strong leadership, communication, delegation, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
