Project Manager, Transmission

Location: Castle Rock, Colorado, United States; onsite work in a company-designated office or field location

Salary: $86,849–$146,775 per year, paid weekly and based on experience.

MYR Energy Services, a subsidiary of hirify.global, provides specialty contracting and engineer-procure-construct services for transmission, substations, solar facilities, and energy storage projects.

What you will do

• Lead construction projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and execution strategies.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, anticipate delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, expenditures, change orders, billing, and financial performance.
• Coordinate clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and field personnel while providing project updates and resolving issues.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, deliverables, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior project management staff and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Required experience with transmission lines and MV/HV substations; EHV experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project or P6, Microsoft Office, cost management, risk management, and change pricing.
• Expertise in Enterprise JDE and strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
