Business Operations Strategic Projects Lead (AI)

Location: United States hybrid; employees must be available to work from an office hub at least two days per week or eight days per month. US hubs include Austin, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, and the Washington, DC metro area.

Base salary: $194,000–$270,000 per year. New York ranges: $216,000–$270,000 for New York City and $194,000–$243,000 for Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Nassau, Newburgh, and Syracuse.

What you will do

• Lead the highest-priority strategic projects within the Office of the CEO.
• Manage annual planning and the company OKR process.
• Lead acquisition due diligence, post-merger integrations, partnership due diligence, and fundraising support.
• Develop market entry, long-term growth, international engineering expansion, pricing, packaging, and cross-selling strategies.
• Work with the CEO, COO, Chief of Staff, co-founders, and executive leadership to deliver strategic insights and measurable results.
• Manage sensitive, high-impact, cross-functional initiatives involving external partners and senior executives.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience at Bain & Company, McKinsey, or BCG, with demonstrated success leading complex, high-stakes projects.
• Creative problem-solving combined with a structured, analytical approach to business challenges.
• Ability to develop actionable insights that shape strategy at the highest levels.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across organizational levels, especially with senior executives.
• Ability to drive alignment, influence decisions, and deliver measurable results.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives with exceptional attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to adapt to AI-enabled work, experiment with AI, share discoveries, and apply human judgment and creativity.
