Senior Automation Engineer (UiPath)

Location: United States; work from home. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without employment-based sponsorship.

Salary: $95,000–$137,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy complex, scalable Intelligent Automation solutions with UiPath, integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Discover, estimate, and deliver Agentic AI solutions using the UiPath suite.
• Guide junior and mid-level automation engineers and support rigorous peer code reviews with the Tech Lead.
• Participate in CI/CD by writing and executing automated unit and integration tests.
• Diagnose complex technical defects, optimize performance bottlenecks, and stabilize processes before handoff to support teams.
• Track industry trends and improve consulting service offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Intelligent Automation software engineering, including deep, demonstrable expertise developing complex UiPath workflows.
• Strong proficiency with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework.
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification.
• Solid experience with AI Center, Action Center, and Coding agents, with proven expertise building Agentic AI solutions.
• Exceptional analytical skills, including reverse-engineering legacy processes and designing efficient modern architectures.
• Strong ability to explain technical challenges and solutions clearly to technical peers and project management.

Nice to have

• Exposure to consulting environments or client-facing roles.
• Python coding skills or willingness to develop technical capabilities.
• Interest in process mining, low-code platforms such as Power Apps, conversational AI tools such as Cognigy or Druid, or UiPath Test Suite.
• Experience with Automation Anywhere or Power Automate.
