Commercial Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in London or Bristol, United Kingdom; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Toulouse, Paris, or Marseille, France. Remote-first working is available, with no minimum expectation for office days.

hirify.global is a cycle insurance company using a collective model to protect cyclists and manage partner insurance operations across the UK, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

What you will do

• Check partner invoices and commission statements against contract terms, including billing across subsidiaries, entities, and GBP/EUR currencies.
• Maintain the partner contract register, including commission rates, fees, billing entities, renewal dates, and notice dates.
• Build and maintain Count SQL dashboards covering policies sold, capital acquired, revenue, commission, and market and segment trends.
• Report partner profitability using loss ratio, margin, premiums, claims, commission, and fulfilment costs.
• Prepare partner QBR packs, manage the QBR calendar, and coordinate weekly reporting with Finance and Data.
• Improve sales handoffs, support deal modelling, maintain HubSpot data, and automate repetitive work with Sheets, Retool, Zapier, AI tools, or scripts.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial operations, revenue operations, FP&A, business analysis, or a similar field.
• Strong numerical and data skills.
• Experience building dashboards in a BI tool such as Count, Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or similar.
• Experience reconciling invoices, commissions, or billing data, ideally across entities and currencies.
• Rigorous approach to reconciliation and building controls to prevent recurring errors.
• Experience using automation and AI to remove manual work.
• Organised and autonomous, with the ability to build processes, ensure adoption, and challenge non-compliance.
• Clear communication with partners and internal teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, fintech, or B2B2C partnerships.
• French, Dutch, or German.
• Python or another scripting language.
• Interest in cycling.
