Trainer II, EPIC (Credentialed)

Location: Commerce, CA 90040; the role may include onsite support in clinics and other healthcare-related environments.

Salary: $68,848.17–$86,060.21 annually.

What you will do

• Train end users on EPIC, ambulatory electronic health records, managed care referral, CRM, Interactive Intelligence, and other technical and clinical systems.
• Validate and train staff on workflows for new and updated software products using standardized training materials.
• Support clinical system implementations as a primary credentialed trainer under the guidance of the Principal Trainer and Training Manager.
• Maintain curriculum updates for software upgrades and builds, develop tip sheets, and provide one-to-one end-user support.
• Lead assigned task forces by defining strategy, delegating work, setting milestones, tracking completion, and documenting lessons learned.
• Serve as a rounding lead for a clinic or territory of clinics and provide onsite implementation support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of direct progressive experience implementing Electronic Health Records systems in a large healthcare organization.
• At least 2 years of experience in performance improvement, project management, or program management.
• Previous EPIC training and certification experience, including EPIC credentialing in at least 3 applications.
• At least 2 years of technical training experience with EPIC systems for clinical staff, including providers, nurses, and medical assistants, together with adult training principles.
• At least 2 years of experience in education, organizational development, or a training-related position.
• Experience supporting EPIC training efforts at different stages of go-live and working in healthcare environments involving clinical and business system applications, training, and education.
• Experience maintaining collaborative relationships with internal personnel, business owners, and stakeholders.
• Intermediate proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• A bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology, biological sciences, education, English, or communications.
• Instruction experience at a traditional secondary, collegiate, or adult school level, or 2 years of technical training experience with medical or dental devices.
• At least 2 years of program or project management experience involving cross-functional coordination.
• Experience rolling out complex training programs for a population of more than 1,500 people.
• Experience analyzing curricula and providing feedback to improve learning outcomes.
• Informatics certification, PMP certification, and Learning Management System experience.
