Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst II - Corporate Services

Location: Hybrid; onsite presence required four days per week at 345 Main Street, Buffalo, New York, United States.

Salary: $26.00–$43.34 hourly (USD).

What you will do

• Develop departmental reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, slide decks, and financial analyses covering project strategy, historical reporting, workflow analysis, and product-related topics.
• Interpret project and program reports and present information in accessible formats for business stakeholders.
• Conduct non-routine analysis, data review, research, reconciliation, and judgment-based work to support business decisions.
• Improve existing processes and develop maintenance plans, procedural documentation, custom automation tools, and recommendations for management.
• Plan, test, and implement projects, systems, products, programs, and regulatory changes while coordinating with business partners, vendors, and technology teams.
• Support audits, user certification, compliance testing, technical troubleshooting, escalations, and internal control requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related business-line experience, or a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced Excel modeling and reporting skills.
• Experience with financial analysis and forecasting, data visualization and dashboard development, report automation, process improvement, and business process documentation.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, including the ability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills with all levels of management, active listening, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative, customer-service-oriented mindset with analytical, detail-oriented, relationship-focused, strategic, financially astute, and effective-communicator traits.
