Business Analyst III ATI (Salesforce)

Location: Remote; may require onsite visits to field locations. Listed location: San Ramon, CA.

Salary: $45.19–$66.35 per hour, negotiable based on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead business analysis efforts, identify features, and develop business requirements to improve processes, efficiency, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Gather requirements from subject matter experts, stakeholders, end users, and business owners; document business and data processes for management, development teams, vendors, and technical resources.
• Review vendor and IT solutions, perform fit-gap and impact analysis, and propose functional solutions aligned with Salesforce and enterprise application capabilities.
• Develop advanced reports, dashboards, complex queries, process flow diagrams, and flowcharts to support decision-making and demonstrate system processes.
• Lead process optimization and change management initiatives, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and conduct management training for system and process changes.
• Mentor team members, liaise across IT and business departments, support clients, perform basic non-production configuration, and obtain administrator-level platform certification.

Requirements

• AA degree or certification in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of business functional area experience, including 5+ years of experience with Business Applications.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, the complete SDLC, and multiple project management methodologies.
• Functional knowledge of Salesforce and the ability to map Salesforce capabilities to business issues.
• Ability to document business and data flows, gather and confirm requirements, and communicate complex business information to stakeholders, business owners, senior management, and technical resources.
• Ability to create very complex process flow diagrams and flowcharts demonstrating business or system processes.
• Ability to perform fit-gap analysis on medium to large project initiatives.
• Ability to write very complex queries and reports and develop and manage multiple enterprise-wide project plans with established deliverables and timelines.
• Ability to execute based on directions from a senior team member and communicate with customers of varying expertise levels.
