Salary: $67,000–$101,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible

What you will do

• Analyze product and customer pricing across market sectors, identify price and volume trends, and recommend price ranges by customer segment.
• Prepare sales forecasts, results reports, presentations, and variance analyses against budget forecasts.
• Develop moderately complex reports and queries for sales management and measure sales and resource allocation effectiveness.
• Review pricing rules and out-of-range pricing, including the impact of new rules on sales representative commissions.
• Evaluate third-party industry pricing data and support sales teams with deal scenarios and contract terms.
• Collaborate with Sales, IS, and Finance to maintain reporting requirements and accurate, timely data; provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Applied Statistics.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales analysis.
• Ability to apply standard financial, accounting, and business problem-solving skills to problems with multiple variables.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as AVERAGE, cell formatting, centered printing, and pivot tables.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
• Ability to apply algebra and business statistics concepts.
