Lead, Planning & Fulfillment (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements, and the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Salary: $100,000–$127,000 USD base pay annually in California.

What you will do

• Lead a team of planners, coordinators, and/or expeditors.
• Oversee demand, supply, and fulfillment planning in MRP and align plans with production schedules.
• Maintain BOMs, parts data, and master data in the ERP system; update demand for ECOs and NPIs.
• Produce line-of-balance, material shortage, and clear-to-build reports to provide visibility into material positions.
• Monitor on-time delivery of purchased items, manage obsolete and end-of-life products, and minimize unusable inventory.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Quality, production, suppliers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve delivery, cost, and quality issues and communicate material status.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience totaling at least 9 years.
• Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems for material planning and management.
• Strong knowledge of material planning fundamentals, including master data management, BOM management, and planning release and fulfillment processes.
• Experience producing material line-of-balance reports and conducting clear-to-build reviews.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mathematics, and statistical analysis for data reporting.
• Experience working in the aerospace industry.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
