Supply Chain Specialist (Advanced Nuclear Energy)

Location: Torrance, California, United States; onsite in-office 5 days per week. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Execute direct and indirect sourcing, purchase order management, and delivery follow-up.
• Manage supplier performance, risks, open actions, and recovery plans.
• Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable on approvals, invoice matching, exceptions, and payment visibility.
• Create dashboards and recurring reports covering spend, purchase order status, supplier performance, lead times, and overdue actions.
• Document procurement procedures, approvals, data standards, and ownership.
• Maintain supplier and purchasing data while balancing urgent needs with scalable controls and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, information systems, analytics, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, supplier management, or business operations.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California, 5 days per week.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary to support critical milestones.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience across direct and indirect procurement categories.
• Experience improving procure-to-pay or source-to-pay processes with Finance or Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency with ERP, MRP, procurement, purchasing, or accounts payable systems.
• Experience creating dashboards and recurring reports with spreadsheets or business intelligence tools.
• Experience managing supplier performance, commercial issues, corrective actions, and fast-changing hardware environments.
