Data Analyst/Data Engineer (French-speaker)

What you will do

• Develop innovative data solutions for business investment banking and financial services operations.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and related data processes.
• Apply relational database and data warehouse concepts using the Kimball methodology.
• Work with Stambia or other ETL tools to support data integration and transformation.
• Collaborate on technology solutions and operational support for the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–9 years of professional experience.
• Advanced SQL skills are mandatory, including complex queries, joins, optimizations, and stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts, including the Kimball methodology.
• Direct experience with Stambia is a major asset; alternatively, solid experience with Talend, Informatica, SSIS, Data Factory, or dbt and a strong willingness to adapt to Stambia.
• Fluent French and English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX formulas and Power Query/M.
• Experience in banking, finance, or insurance, including financial instruments, regulatory compliance, risk management, or retail banking data.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Python or Unix/Linux scripting.
